A central London landmark is gaining a brand new 5* hotel. Plus the launch of a new hotel brand to the UK and a returning one! Here are three London hotel openings in 2021 which Bien Venue are looking forward to proposing:
The Londoner
The Londoner will sit to the south west corner of the world-famous Leicester Square offering 350 bedrooms, event space for up to 1,000 guests, two new Odeon Luxe cinemas and a unique subterranean spa.

NYX London
A brand-new lifestyle hotel in central London and the very first NYX Hotel in the UK is re-opening in early Summer. NYX Hotel London Holborn (formerly Grange Hotel) is perfectly located on Southampton Row between the City and London’s West End.
At NYX Hotel London Holborn, London’s electrifying spirit will not stop at the front door, but will flow throughout and inspire everything you see, hear, taste and experience. NYX Hotel London Holborn offers 213 luxurious bedrooms and suites plus a range of event spaces from 15 – 120 people including a new 10th floor rooftop bar.
Mondrian Shoreditch
A converted property Mondrian Shoreditch London will mark the brand’s return to London. The 120-room property sits in the heart of Shoreditch, London’s creative and cultural hub. Launching in spring / summer 2021 the hotel will include a culinary experience from world-famous chef Dani García. This will be Mondrian’s sixth hotel in the global portfolio.

Qbic Manchester
After seeing success in big cities such as London, Brussels, and Amsterdam Qbic is set to open its fourth-ever hotel this spring.
Qbic Manchester will take up residence on John Dalton Street by the bustling Spinningfields district. It is expected the brand-new hotel and venue will open its doors this May. Qbic believes a hotel stay should be anything but average and the new Manchester hotel has 261 rooms, a gym, 4 boardrooms, is pet-friendly, and even has a 6-person karaoke & cinema room!
Fairmont Windsor Park
Aiming to open in Spring 2021 the 5* Fairmont Windsor Park is set in beautiful, landscaped gardens. Located adjacent to Windsor Great Park the new hotel boasts 249 bedrooms, 6 food & beverage outlets, a spa and 2585 sqm of meeting space.
Interesting facts about this opening:
- All its meeting spaces are named after butterflies
- Fairmont will be incorporating a nature theme throughout the meetings offering
- They have their very own Bee Keeper & honey served in the Hotel.
INNSiDE by Melia Liverpool
Opening this summer, INNSiDE Liverpool will be Liverpool’s newest lifestyle hotel. The Hotel is a new build in the footprint of the old Echo Post newspaper building.
INNSiDE by Melia Liverpool will have 207 en-suite bedrooms and offers 7 spaces including the Big Ideas Space. Featuring a 17th floor events space and Sky Bar with panoramic views over Liverpool. This hotel will be Melia’s fourth location in the UK and sixth hotel.
Leonardo Hotel Bristol Glassfields
The newly built Leonardo Hotel Bristol Glassfields offers 197 stylish bedrooms. Featuring the Leonardo DREAM bed, a meeting room and is BREEAM certified. Based close to the city centre, the most popular shopping destinations, art galleries and harbour side are within walking distance. Due to open this spring this is Leonardo Hotels first new build hotel in the UK after rebranding a number of properties in London, Southampton, Manchester, and Scotland.
INNSiDE by Melia Newcastle
Due to open this autumn the INNSiDE Newcastle is Melia Hotel’s third location and the fifth property in the UK. This 161-room hotel located in the heart of the city on the historical Quayside, offers breath-taking views across the River Tyne. With an eclectic home-from-home feel for guests to explore Newcastle’s city centre. INNSiDE Newcastle will also offer five creative meeting spaces with maximum capacity for up to 170 banqueting, including a Big Ideas Space, full of smart, sustainable touches to inspire the unconventional.
