The Conference and Hospitality Show (CHS) Awards are a celebration of the very best in UK hospitality. Each year a host of categories recognise the venues, hotels, buyers and suppliers that represent the very best in the business. This year we are proud to announce that Sam Elliott, the Director of Bien Venue, will one of the judges on the CHS Awards’ independent panel. This panel of 50 is made up of top hospitality professionals and event agency representatives, so it’s an honour for us to be included among this number.
10th Anniversary Year
With the CHS Awards in their fifth year, 2019 will also be the 10th anniversary of the Conference and Hospitality Show. Even more exciting news is that to mark this occasion the organisers have announced 10 new award categories. These will include Best UK Conventions Centre, Best Conference Planner, Rising Star and Lifetime Achievement. All the established awards, such as Best Independent Venue or Hotel, Best Catering Provider and Best External Event Space, are still up for grabs too! We’ve listed all 22 award categories at the end of this blog, as well as details on how to enter.
CHS Awards dates for your diary
The awards are already open for nominations, you have until Friday 1st March 2019 to enter. Entry to the CHS Awards is absolutely free, and there is a category to represent every aspect of the conference and hospitality sector. Individuals, venues and service providers who feel they represent the very best in their field should not hesitate to apply!
The CHS Awards shortlist will be announced on 28th April 2019 at The Conference & Hospitality Show. Finally, the award ceremony itself will take place on 6th June 2109 at the Royal Armouries, Leeds. We expect it will be another incredible occasion because we know that excellence abounds in the hospitality sector!
